There is life in cities – they still produce our tomorrows; they mirror the hopes and fears of today’s society, its longings and its doubts. Cities are and will always be ‘work in progress’ – hence none of the utopias imagined will ever be reached. Life in streets therefore always changes between standing still and running furiously, emptiness and the search for more.
